Rachel Cocker 

Solicitor

Rachel graduated with a first-class honours degree in Law with Criminology from the University of Manchester. She joined Hall Brown as a Paralegal in February 2020.

Rachel qualified as a Solicitor in 2024 after completing her training contact at Hall Brown and the Legal Practice Course at BPP University, where she achieved a Distinction. As part of her training contract, she undertook a six-month secondment to Leigh Day, working in their clinical negligence team.

She is now developing her experience across all areas of family law, with a particular passion for private law children matters. Rachel also advises on divorce and financial remedy cases. She appreciates the distressing circumstances that her clients are dealing with and therefore prioritises providing a calm and sympathetic approach.

Rachel is a member of Resolution and sits on the Manchester YRes Committee.

Outside of work Rachel enjoys swimming, baking and travelling.
