Melanie Bancroft is an experienced marketing and business development professional. She has over 17 years’ experience in the legal sector and has also worked in the charitable, education and business sectors. Prior to joining Hall Brown Family Law, she was at Irwin Mitchell, supporting fee earners across a number of teams including family, employment, commercial, education and manufacturing.

She is known for her personable, warm approach which leads to strong networks regionally and nationally. She has developed strong business development and marketing skills, working independently and as part of a team to deliver the best outcome. She always keeps the client at the very centre of what she does. Melanie will be responsible for driving the Hall Brown brand, ensuring a consistent and strong marketing message across all our offices.

Away from work, Melanie holds a number of positions, including:
• Ambassador for the Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity
• Committee member of The Sheffield Club
• Board member of the Engagement Advisory Board for Yorkshire and the Humber RFCA (Reserve Forces Cadet Association)
• Governor at Bents Green Special School, Sheffield
