Jo joined Hall Brown in March 2016, having spent her whole career working in law firms; previously as a legal PA before transitioning to Senior Office/HR and Operations Manager in 2016. She has specialised in family law for over 30 years.
Having previously worked at Pannone/Slater and Gordon for 28 years before joining Hall Brown. She is a lifetime Fellow Member of the Institute of Legal Secretaries and PAs and also is also a qualified CIPD HR manager, a qualified IOSH Health and Safety officer, Mental Health First Aider and Menopause Champion.
Jo was awarded the Special Recognition Award at the 2023 ‘Manchester PA Network Awards’ as well as previously being named Legal PA of the Year at the prestigious National PA Awards ‘Secs in the City’ in November 2019. Prior to that she had previously been crowned PA of the Year at the ‘Manchester PA Network Awards 2018’, together with Manager of the Year and Team of the Year at the ‘North West PA Awards 2018’. She was also Line Manager of the Year in the ‘Manchester PA Network Awards 2017’.
Having worked in law firms and specifically family law at the highest level for so long she is familiar with all stages of the legal process meaning she can support the entire team and can assist clients with both confidence and to the highest quality.
