Hall Brown Family Law’s skill in advising some of the UK’s richest families has seen it win another major award.
The boutique firm triumphed in the Family Law Firm High Net Worth category at last night’s PAM eprivateclient Excellence Awards in London.
Judges concluded that Hall Brown merited the title for its “sophisticated high-net-worth client work, market-leading non-court dispute resolution capabilities and distinctive people-focused culture”.
Partner Priya Palanivel, Head of Hall Brown’s London office, said that the eprivateclient prize was further convincing evidence of how the firm was now recognised as being among the very best around at handling complex family law cases.
This latest award also comes hot on the heels of Hall Brown’s inclusion in two of the most influential rankings of legal practices supporting the country’s wealthiest people.
Four of Hall Brown’s lawyers merited special mentions in this year’s edition of the Chambers’ High Net Worth index, while six of the firm’s fee earners featured in the equivalent Spear’s 500 digest, known as the ‘Michelin Guide for wealth’.
Priya said: “We are genuinely absolutely thrilled to take this latest award.
“It is rich tribute to the efforts made by everyone in the firm to guide clients through very challenging circumstances, often extending across a number of different jurisdictions.
“The fact that we are regarded as being among the very best practitioners is a source of immense pride and precisely what we had aimed for when we launched a decade ago.
“The determination to deliver excellence every single day is what has enabled us to make such strides and ensure that individuals facing some of the most difficult periods of their lives can count on us to help them through.”
In total, 12 PAM eprivateclient Excellence Awards were given out at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel.
Judges decided that Hall Brown was the strongest of five firms contesting the High Net Worth category due to its demonstrating “quality, innovation in presentation and compelling evidence of client satisfaction and firm performance”.
Earlier this year, Hall Brown Family Law had also retained its place in the top tier of eprivateclient’s listing of the country’s leading family law firms.
That followed similar placings in the UK’s other top legal industry rankings, including Doyle’s Guide, Legal 500, Chambers and Partners, and The Times.
The eprivateclient prize is Hall Brown’s second significant recent trophy win of the last few months. It was chosen as Family Team of the Year at the Manchester Legal Awards in July.
The firm has been shortlisted in two categories – Family Law Firm of the Year: Regional and Financial Remedies Team of the Year – for the forthcoming LexisNexis UK Family Law Awards.
It also stands a chance of completing back-to-back victories in the Family Team of the Year category at the Yorkshire Legal Awards, having taken the title in 2025.
