Lesley qualified in 1999 and since then has worked solely within Family Law and joined Hall Brown in September 2025.

She has spent most of her career working in and around Manchester at Legal 500 firms although she acts for clients nationwide.

She has a particular interest in high net worth divorce and financial matters with a complex and/or unusual element to them.

Her work often involves what to do with a family business; how pensions are to be treated; what is a matrimonial asset for sharing/trusts and how they should be dealt with.

She also deals with pre and post nuptial agreements and Schedule 1 Children Act claims involving unmarried parents and financial provision for children.

Whilst striving to resolve cases outside of the court arena, Lesley is equally comfortable to have cases dealt with through the court system to achieve the client’s goals.

Lesley prides herself on giving straight forward , strategic and commercial advice with the client relationship at the heart of her work.
