David joined Hall Brown as a Paralegal in August 2026, having graduated from the University of Hull with a First Class LLB. In his first year, he won the university’s client interviewing competition, and later gained qualifying work experience through the Hull Legal Advice Centre, advising clients on a mix of matters including family law.

 

David brings a broad base of legal experience, having worked as a New Claims Advisor within the medical negligence and personal injury team at Hudgell Solicitors, and undertaking further work in this area during a vacation scheme at Hugh James. He has also received mentoring at BAE Systems and gained insight experience at Boodle Hatfield, covering commercial, in-house and private client work.

 

Outside of work, David enjoys playing padel and keeping active through the gym and running.
