Catherine has specialised in family law since qualifying as a solicitor in 1998.

Catherine previously practised in Essex, where she worked for a Tier 1 Legal 500 firm for 18 years before relocating to Manchester in 2024.

With over 25 years of experience, Catherine brings a wealth and breadth of knowledge to her role as a Senior Associate.

Catherine’s practice focuses on complex, high-value financial settlements between spouses and civil partners. She is particularly skilled in navigating cases that involve businesses, overseas assets and substantial pension funds. Catherine also offers expert advice to cohabitees on property disputes.

Catherine regularly advises clients on Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements and Cohabitation Agreements, guiding clients through the process of regulating their financial arrangements at the start of or during their relationships.

Throughout her career, Catherine has regularly represented parents in various child-related matters, including relocation applications and financial provision for children of unmarried parents.

Recognised for her excellence in the legal field, Catherine has been featured in multiple editions of the Legal 500 and is ranked as a Leading Partner in the 2025 edition in which she is credited as being “exceptional” and “very knowledgeable and knows her cases inside out”. She is noted as being “approachable, professional and personal”.
