Hall Brown Family Law has been named as a finalist in two categories at the LexisNexis UK Family Law Awards.

Organisers have shortlisted Hall Brown as a contender for both the Family Law Firm of the Year – Regional, and Financial Remedies Team of the Year prizes.

Partner Priya Palanivel, who heads the firm’s London office, described how the latest nominations were evidence of the effort to deliver a consistently high standard of support to clients nationwide.

“It is a genuine thrill to find ourselves once more being recognised for the effort which everyone associated with Hall Brown invests in doing the very best quality work possible.

“We are particularly delighted to be identified for our ability to deal with the sort of complex, high-value financial remedy cases which accounts for such a considerable part of the workload across all of our offices.

This year marks the 15th edition of the Family Law Awards, which were established to honour the excellence of family law solicitors and barristers, and their contribution to society.

Hall Brown is one of 10 nominees for the Family Law Firm of the Year – Regional category, which aims to recognise those organisations based outside London which have demonstrated “excellence in delivering high-quality family law services”.

Judges require the seven firms in the running for the Financial Remedies Team of the Year award need to show their “depth of expertise across the team, including technical skill and strategic approach” in achieving “successful and pragmatic outcomes for clients”.

Prizes for those categories and the 18 other titles on offer will be handed out during an awards ceremony at London’s Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel on the 18th of November.

The Family Law Awards’ shortlisting comes only two weeks after Hall Brown underlined its regional might with five collective and individual nominations in the Yorkshire Legal Awards.

This summer has also seen the firm reinforce its position as one of the most important advisors to the UK’s wealthiest individuals in two influential legal industry rankings.

Four of Hall Brown’s lawyers featured prominently in the latest edition of the Chambers’ High Net Worth guide.

Six of the firm’s leading figures were also included in Spear’s 500 guide of professional advisors to the UK’s richest people, a publication dubbed the ‘Michelin Guide to wealth’.

Hall Brown’s success in both classifications rounded off 12 months in which the firm celebrated the 10th anniversary of its launch and burnished its reputation still further.

In addition to once more placing in the top tier of all the domestic legal profession’s most prestigious tables – compiled by Doyle’s, Legal 500, Chambers and Partners, eprivateclient and The Times – the firm was named one of the UK’s 10 Best medium-sized Places to Work for the third year in a row by the Sunday Times.

Hall Brown has offices in Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham and Liverpool as well as in London.

A consistent demand for its services has been accompanied by growth in staff numbers. It now has 86 employees, including 66 fee earners.
