At Hall Brown Family Law, we are incredibly proud of our firm’s trajectory and the initial steps we laid down that built and shaped the powerhouse practice we are today.

What began as a two-person practice in Manchester, Sam Hall and James Brown as the founders, aspired to create a law firm which focused on delivering straightforward and client-focused advice to families across the country, with a wider social responsibility at the heart of everything.

The primary vision was to establish two exceptional family law firms in Manchester and London. However, as the firm’s reputation grew and the Manchester office secured the Firm of The Year at Manchester Legal Awards, it became clear that our impact should be extended further. Therefore, we decided to broaden our reach, and after ten years we now have six offices across the country, all with the shared objective of supporting more families with the same commitment to excellence.

Transitioning from a two-lawyer practice into a nationally recognised firm of more than 80 colleagues has been shaped by our exceptional team. Some have risen through the ranks, others have joined from other top family law practices. But what is clear is that every solicitor at Hall Brown has a high level of expertise and dedication to achieving the best possible outcomes for our clients.

A decade later, and Hall Brown has been recognised in many industry rankings and accolades which reflects our commitment to providing outstanding client service in family law, a value which has defined us since the very beginning.
