Lily joined Hall Brown in 2025, having graduated from the University of York with a first-class honours degree in Law.

Whilst studying for her LLB, she received the Joan Samuel Prize, an academic award, for her public law module essay. Lily also edited and wrote for the student law journal, ‘Ebor Lex’, where she specialised in public law and legal issues affecting women.

Lily’s journey into law was inspired by her work for a social justice charity in Macclesfield, Cre8, with whom she continues to volunteer. Lily brings a considered and pragmatic approach to law, and has experience in both children and financial matters, including a complex international children law case heard at the Royal Courts of Justice.

Outside of work, Lily enjoys playing the piano and cello, yoga, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
