Hayley joins us from Hong Kong, where she was called to the Bar in 2017. Later, she was admitted as a Hong Kong solicitor, specialising in family law at a highly-regarded boutique firm.
Hayley has extensive expertise in finance on divorce having acted successfully for HNW/UHNW clients in Court proceedings involving financial applications including maintenance pending suit and final order variation. In addition, Hayley is experienced in acting for clients in complex children matters including sensitive cases involving abuse, and international leave to remove applications. Her practice is international, and she is well-used to advising on cases with cross-jurisdictional issues.
Career highlights have included advising clients on a broad spectrum of niche areas including fraud litigation in the family context, surrogacy, Hague applications and securing equal parental rights for same sex partners. Clients value her clear communication and empathetic, holistic approach.
Prior to joining the legal profession, Hayley worked for over a decade in private special education, supporting and helping children realise their potential.
Being responsive to the individual circumstances of every client has been fundamental to Hayley’s ethos throughout her professional life, and continues to be so today.
